ABOUT ME
I have been a certified and practicing Pilates Instructor since 2014. I relocated to Vancouver in 2020 with my husband and two small children. We bought a home with a beautiful, intimate studio so I would have the opportunity to continue my career while spending as much quality time as possible with my little ones! The foundation of my practice is to customize every workout and provide modifications for injury-free exercise regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.
Pilates encourages focus, control, and proper execution of various exercises in a flowing pattern. The quality, not the quantity, of each exercise is emphasized. The main focus is the development and strengthening of the core, or "powerhouse". Having an awareness and understanding of how to engage the deep muscles of the core is essential; from this base, Pilates aims to increase strength, mobility, and agility of the entire body.
